Is Sellabout free?

Yes — free accounts can run up to 3 active sales at a time (up to 10 items each, no item photos) and post unlimited classified ads. The $10/month membership unlocks unlimited photos, ongoing sales, and unlimited concurrent listings. HOAs have separate community plans.

Do buyers need an account?

No. Buyers can browse, search, reserve, and prepurchase items without signing up. An account is only needed if you want to save favorites or run your own sale.

How do reservations work?

Sellers can let buyers reserve an item (optionally with a deposit) or prepurchase outright through Stripe. Reservations expire automatically if not picked up, so items don't sit forever.

What's an HOA / community sale?

A community sale is one event where many homes in the same neighborhood sell on the same day. The HOA (or any organizer) creates a community on Sellabout, residents join with their own sale, and shoppers see one map covering the whole neighborhood.

Where does the money go?

For item sales, payments go directly to the seller's connected Stripe account. Sellabout charges only the monthly membership or HOA plan fee — we don't take a cut of your items.

How do I report a sale or community?

Every public sale and community page has a Report button. Reports go to our moderation team and we review them quickly.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, anytime from your dashboard. You'll keep access until the end of the current billing period.
